Forgiveness, reconciliation and love can be difficult for us to give both within ourselves and to others. That is why we must keep adding tools into the toolbox so that we are progressive and move ahead in all of life’s circumstances. Jesus’s adopted father St. Joseph was a carpenter. He was skilled in fixing and building many things. Yet he was more than a carpenter. St. Joseph was a husband to Mary and a father to Jesus. This great responsibility also made him a problem solver and farsighted in his thinking. What I think defines him was his faith and obedience to God. St Joseph you are a Holy man, please intercede for us to the Lord for you are a guardian of the Blessed Virgin and were entrusted to the safety and protection of the Baby Jesus. St. Joseph pray for us. [from the Prayer of St. Joseph].
