As I sat by the bedside of my Father’s hospital bed, I remember him lifting up his head and looking at me. I said Daddy it’s me KarenLee, but he just put his head back on the pillow. I did not know then that this was the last goodbye from my Daddy. He passed the next day. (54 yrs ago on 5/10/67)
As I sat by the bedside of my Mother’s hospital bed, I leaned over to whisper in her ear, Mommy, I release you from your promise. (I always said, Mommy where you go, I go) I did not want to see her on the respiratory, struggling to live and stay with me. As soon as I said it, a single tear fell from her eye. I know in my heart that she was waiting for me to release her from the promise she made to me. That was on July 25, 2001. I will never forget these two goodbyes from the two most important people in my life. It is because of them that I have the spiritual background till today!

TRUTH! How you say goodbye is so important. I will never forget my last goodbye last year to both my Mom and Dad separately.
